Konica Minolta is the most sustainable company in the image information industry

In 2004, greenhouse gas emissions totalled 7.66 tonnes of CO2 per person per year (pppy).* The amount of greenhouse gas the Earth can absorb naturally is thought to be 1.24 tonnes of CO2 pppy, which corresponds to a reduction of about 80% in current annual per capita emissions. Based on these estimates, Konica Minolta has set itself a target of reducing emission by this amount throughout its product lifecycles by the year 2050. This ambitious effort has now been rewarded. Konica Minolta is the highest-ranked provider of image information products, coming 70th on this year’s independent Global 100 Corporate Sustainability Benchmark list. (tisková zpráva)
