Společnost VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), globální lídr v oblasti virtualizačních řešení a cloudové infrastruktury, oznámila v červnu svůj záměr převzít Digital Fuel, vedoucího představitele v oblasti financování a správy IT SaaS řešení. Řešení společnosti Digital Fuel umožňují firmám plánovat, řídit a optimalizovat jejich náklady a hodnotu v rozvíjejícím se světě dynamického IT založeného na cloudu. S touto akvizicí umožní VMware podnikům více efektivně spravovat obchodní dopad IT prostředí se zaměřením se na náklady na IT, zapojením ohledů na finance i do IT rozhodnutí a dodáním smysluplných měření a reportů, které budou odpovídat požadavkům finančních ředitelů a představitelů firem. Podmínky akvizice nebyly oznámeny. Její dokončení je naplánováno na červenec 2011. (TZ)
