Prague, October 20, 2014 — According to the preliminary report published by International Data Corporation (IDC), PC shipments in Russia declined for the seventh consecutive quarter, dropping 16.1% year on year in Q3 2014 to a total of 2.27 million units. The portable PC market suffered a contraction of 18.8% to 1.46 million units, while the decline in the desktop market was lower, at 10.9%, which amounted to shipments of 809,000 units. (TZ)
