PRAGUE / BEOGRAD, January 13, 2017 – International Data Corporation (IDC) has announced that Zorana Juric will lead IDC’s business in the Adriatic region, which covers Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. In her new role, Ms Juric’s main focus will be sales and business development across the company’s key business areas, including research, consulting, and events, as well as the company’s new service for IT professionals called the IT Executive Program. Ms Juric’s mission is to help IDC customers become successful in their own digital transformation journeys, based on fact-based insights into development and adoption of new technologies, along with assessment of their potential based on benchmarks and on both local and international use cases of successful implementations. Thanks to vast market knowledge, cross-industry opportunity assessments, and, most importantly, local insight driven by a team of local analysts and consultants, IDC is able to assist both technology providers and technology users in their efforts to remain competitive.
“I am very proud to lead the IDC Adriatic team. For me, this is a great privilege, a challenge and passion. However, it also represents a huge responsibility, Ms Juric said. “I am delighted I will have the opportunity to invest my experience and knowledge of the ICT market and work together with the Adriatic team to our customers’ trust.”
Ms Juric will replace Ana Papez, who successfully managed IDC’s business in the Adriatics region for the last 3 years. Prior to taking on the new role, Ms Juric was a country manager in Serbia and a research and consulting manager in the Adriatics region. She has been responsible for research and analysis of the IT services, software, storage, and mobile phones market in Serbia, and she was also involved in consulting, contributing to several custom projects for vendors and corporate IT executives.
