Společnost VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), globální lídr v oblasti virtualizačních řešení a cloudové infrastruktury, oznámila v květnu definitivní uzavření dohody o převzetí Shavlik Technologies, předního poskytovatele jednoduchých a efektivních řešení správy IT založených na cloudu určených pro malé a střední firmy. Shavlik Technologies nabízí portfolio řešení založených na SaaS správě, které umožňuje malým a středním firmám mnohem efektivněji spravovat, sledovat a zabezpečit jejich IT prostředí. Finanční podmínky akvizice nebyly oznámeny. Převzetí by mělo být dokončeno ke konci tohoto čtvrtletí. (TZ)
Toto oznámení je založeno na velmi dobrém vztahu vybudovaném mezi VMware a Shavlik prostřednictvím VMwareGoTM, sdílenou SaaS nabízející podporu malým a středním firmám a to včetně rychlého rozmístění a správy VMware vSphere®.
